Clothing Design: Corset Skirt, 1992

Here is a corset skirt I designed back in 1992. You'll have to excuse the poor quality of the photos--I hope to take better ones eventually. The blouse looks funny because it is hanging over the edge of a table.

The top of the skirt comes to just under the bust. The skirt is shorter in the front than the back, with a lot of lace... it took me about 36 hours to make, as there is a whole lot of embroidered lace stitched onto it. The dark blue behind the lace is just the table it was on when I took the picture...
